BONE YARD FOSSIL QUARRY Families enjoy assembling large wooden floor puzzles including 12' long plesiosaur, Cryptoclidus. Children enjoy climbing through the caves with cave paintings inside. Up to 20 children at a time can enjoy these activities. |

HANDS-ON BOAT Kids love taking turns with the steering wheel at the helm of this 13' sail boat. The sail can be hoisted and lowered, and all objects on this boat are labeled, such as cleat, port, starboard, bow, stern, etc. The boat has built-in seats and has a wheel-chair accessible ramp. A flock of pelicans flies above.

WHALE MIGRATION PATHS The migration paths of three whales (blue whale, humpback and gray whale) are illuminated at the touch of a button. Each whale has its own color. An educational reader is included for each whale. |

DIG SITE Children love uncovering fossil bones in this 14' x 19' excavation site. The dig material is clean, rubber mulch which does not cling to the visitors' clothing. The bones of whales and plesiosaurs are in this pictured dig site.

Many hands-on "touch" stations are included with all exhibits.

SPINNER HANDS-ON
(Left) Visitors can test their knowledge by trying to identify the creature that matches its skull. They spin the skull image to see the fleshed out answer on the other side. Each spinner will return automatically to its original position. |
